While the deluxe room, equipped with one queen and two single beds, showcased spaciousness and cleanliness-boosted by strong water pressure-the ambiance was marred slightly by a malfunctioning toilet door that tended to open unexpectedly. The standard room, though a bit more compact with limited storage, maintained cleanliness and featured a mini fridge for convenience. Wi-Fi connectivity was commendable, ensuring a seamless experience. The hotel's central location is undoubtedly a key asset, providing easy access to main roads, banks, and eateries. The classic-modern facade resonates with a sense of nostalgia while offering a comfortable stay, supported by friendly and accommodating staff. With daily housekeeping and essential amenities like free toiletries and air conditioning, the hotel provides a decent balance of luxury and value for travelers. For those seeking a functional base in Kangar, the Federal Hotel merits consideration.
